Both “Pocketalk S” and "Pocketalk W" come with an embedded global SIM "chip" built into the device, so there is no need for you to purchase and install a separate SIM card.
Although there is an extra open SIM slot, this is only if you do not want to rely on the embedded SIM chip and would like to insert your own SIM card for the mobile data connection.
